This document describes the features and limitations of Halo Stream EZ products.
To access a LAN's EZ Deck from any device, navigate to http://halo.streamez.net/#stream, replacing "stream" with the LAN's specific identifier. You will also need to know either the master or guest PIN.
The Stream EZ and OBS Static Overlays are restricted to 1 user and 1 computer. Once you load your Stream EZ files in obs onto a computer, that will be the computer your subscription is locked to. If for any reason you need to transfer your overlay to another computer, make sure to do it before your subscription starts. If your subscription has started and you need to transfer computers, don’t hesitate to reach out to support and we will approve the transfer. See our Terms and Conditions for more information on this.
All Overlays are 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high (1920x1080, Full HD)

When purchasing a subscription, you’ll enter a unique gamertag, hashtag, start date, email address and optional twitch channel URL. As a LAN host, you will get 2 PINs (which can be changed after logging in): A Master PIN to control the EZ Overlay, and a Guest PIN for your attendees. The gamertag you typed into the purchase form will be added to your EZ Deck the first time you connect.
You may manually add guests to the attendees list, or distribute the Guest PIN and your attendees can add their own gamertags. Guests will be asked to choose or add their gamertag to their device upon first opening EZ Deck. This will streamline the timestamp feature (available with Pro subscriptions.)
You’ll see this message once you’ve added yourself to the LAN:
If you need to update the spelling of your gamertag, there is a button in the settings menu to contact support.
Limited to: 32 characters
In EZ Deck:
In Stream Overlay:
Before your LAN begins you will be able to use the EZ Deck and prepare your attendee list. The attendees you see in that list will be only the ones for that LAN’s EZ Deck url (ex: #beachlan). Below your LAN’s attendee list, you will have our gamertag database of players “elsewhere” to choose from or auto-fill the text field as you type.
Limited to: 16 characters
You will only be able to choose from the list of attendees that have been added to the LAN.
Hosts can remove attendees by simply choosing who you want to remove and pressing the X to the right of the list.
There is a limit of 2 commentators on all overlays.
Casters will have a microphone icon next to their gamertag in your attendee list
Commentators will look like this on the overlay, above the game capture area:
This shows which xbox is the host on the stream overlay. Specifying NHE as the network mode disables the Host Box Toggle and shows NHE greyed out.
This will show up above the game capture if the xbox on the stream is set to HOST. (for single game capture overlays)
This will show up above the game capture if the other xbox not on the stream is set to HOST. (for single game capture overlays)
Dual overlay join / host labels
1, 2, 3, and 4 Player Screen Layouts are available. You must use an identical layout for Box 1 and Box 2 (ex: you cannot do [box 1: 3-player layout] and [box 2: 4-player layout]
TS teams will be red/blue

FFA color will be all purple (Box 1, 2 and scores)
This button will switch the overlay colors to the opposite side (scores and player names will not move). Useful when Blue is hosting on Box 1. Disabled when FFA is selected.
NHE will disable the host box slider. It will also allow you to have a live scoreboard in the logo area, given you have a capture card for the host box’s video signal.
On/Off will enable the host box slider and allow you to specify the host and join boxes.
This button sets the series scores to zero, keeping the players where they are.
This button switches the player names and series scores to the opposite xbox.
This button removes all player names and sets the series scores to zero.
This button logs the Date & Time, your gamertag (“Founder” in the timestamp list), and the screen, team color (or FFA), and “Player”, storing it in the Menu > Timestamps page. If you are logged into EZ Deck and you are on stream, pressing the Save Timestamp button will automatically subtract 5 seconds and select you as the “Player.” Otherwise, you will be prompted to specify a screen and how long ago the action happened.

You can sort the timestamps list by: - FOUNDER: ‘Just Mine’ or ‘Everyone’ who clicked the timestamp button
- PLAYER: ‘Just Me’ or ‘Everyone’ who did the timestamp-worthy play in the game capture
You can also format the timestamps list with:
- 24h or 12h time formatting
- Hourly / Daily - line separators will appear between hour or day intervals in the list
- Recent / All - from the most recent LAN / all
There is a transparent section around the overlay design that will show any background image behind it. Basic Subscribers have access to 18 stock background images with completely different styles and color schemes. Red and Blue sides can each have their own background image so it changes when you hit the color swap toggle, otherwise set them both to the same image.
Pro users can upload their own background images to the EZ Deck. Keep in mind that when you upload an image, the top left needs to have contrast with the white LAN title.
To upload your own background image in your Pro subscription, select this button at the
top of the background image list:
Recommended image size: 1920x1080
Accepted file types: jpg, png
Max file size: 5MB
Max length of filename: 100 characters

This overlay does not have an EZ Deck companion app to use with it. Place your own OBS text elements and sources to complete your stream overlay.
To change between red/blue colors for the Single Overlay, cycle between the scenes
This overlay has a transparent section for any background image you choose to be the bottom layer of your OBS sources.
The possibilities are really endless. Please contact streamez100@gmail.com to start the conversation about your custom design and EZ Deck.
We have new features planned for the future. All these features will be immediately available to Pro subscribers upon completion. We will send a courtesy email to all subscribers outlining new features we’ve rolled out. Get hyped.
